Amusement Vision was the subsidary of Sega that made Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Monkey Ball 2 for the Super Monkey Ball series. The company was mainly Japanese. It was formed in 2000 and merged back with Sega in 2004. Today, it is referred to as Sega's New Entertainment R&D Department. They also developed F-Zero GX, which was published by Nintendo.
