Ant Lion Super is the 33rd Expert floor in Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball and the 62nd Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 172nd Ultimate stage with continues and the 212th without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 9-20 and is given a 6 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage is similar to Ant Lion, except this time there are stakes planted in the ground throughout the stage, making guiding the monkey to the goal harder, and the slope is noticeably steeper, to where if the player loses their momentum, they can't fight the gradient of the slope, making hitting the stakes more dangerous.
Goal Tutorial[]
Though this stage may seem easy (or hard) at first, what you should figure out first is a way to make it to the goal without hitting one of the stakes (Use 'View Stage' on the pause menu, or practice in 'Practice Mode',). Once this is figured out, attempt to do so in the stage. And in time, you will make it to the goal efficiently.
Trivia[]
- In Super Monkey Ball, the stakes are short and cuboid shaped. In Banana Mania, they have been redesigned to be taller and conical; however, they still appear to have a short cuboid collision model.
