Advanced Extra 3, titled Puzzle in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, isn't really a puzzle at all. It's a giant, winding, square-angled double spiral which is impossible to complete without a shortcut.
Goal
There is one blue goal at the center of the other square spiral. Normally, you would have to keep following the long, tedious, and time-consuming path, but there is a shortcut.
Shortcut
While facing the goal, roll your ball along the pathway to skip over the abyss that stands between the paths.
If you can do it just right, you can skip over to the other square spiral with a "generous" amount of time left.
