Ever since I 100%'d SMBA about 5 years ago on PS2, I've been searching for how to unlock Future Aiai as a playable character, as it's the only thing I had left to unlock and the big red space in the character select screen was bugging me. After looking around online who knows how many times, it seems the internet has very little knowledge on it and the only thing I could find was your contribution to his article about unlocking him on PSP. I figured you would be the most knowledgeable person on the topic and I was wondering if you had any more info on how exactly he is unlocked on the PSP version of the game.
As someone who's also played on the PS2, it's always been a mystery. Through the power of the internet I found the way, and it's quite tedious.
You have to complete Story Mode 100% with all four characters. Gonna add this since I just found it while writing this response. He's playable on the PS2 by transferring said data onto the PS2.
Thanks for bringing it up, by the way! I actually had no idea before :P
I've seen this method online as well, but do you have any idea if there's any truth behind it? From what I've seen it was off a random youtube comment, so I would hate to do a task that tedious and get nothing. Where did you find that information?
I'm currently working on gathering game-quality screenshots of all the SMB Jr Stages (example), and I plan to make pages for all of them as well. I was wondering if, for the stages that are remakes of ones from SMB1 (this includes at least half the stages), would you be fine with me creating new, separate pages for all of these?
The reason I bring this up is because the floors in SMB Jr. have no "official" names other than the numbers, and many have significant differences from their SMB1 versions. Also, currently the pages for these stages are organized inconsistently. Some pages like Plain and Diamond cover all the iterations, while Exam-C only covers the SMB1/Deluxe iterations even though it's in Jr. as well.
I'm OK doing whatever, but I figured I'd ask before I get started writing stuff out.
Thanks for your time!
